Copyright Policy for Artwork and Designs
At Golf Associates, we take pride in delivering unique, high-quality artwork and designs tailored exclusively for our clients. To protect the originality and integrity of our work, all artwork, designs, and materials created by Golf Associates Scorecard Company are protected under copyright law. By engaging in our design services, you agree to the following terms and conditions regarding copyright and use.
Ownership and Rights
All artwork, designs, and materials created by Golf Associates remain the intellectual property of Golf Associates unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Clients receive a limited license to use the artwork solely for the intended purpose of printed materials, such as scorecards, as well as an optional digital version formatted for website display if requested. Original design files remain the property of Golf Associates and will not be shared, distributed, or transferred. Clients do not acquire any rights to reproduce, alter, or reuse the artwork in any format outside of the agreed-upon purposes.
Restrictions on Use
Clients may not share, reproduce, copy, alter, or distribute any artwork, designs, or materials provided by Golf Associates. This includes, but is not limited to, sharing files or concepts with other vendors, competitors, or unauthorized third parties. Clients are responsible for ensuring that any employees, contractors, or third parties they work with adhere to this policy and do not engage in unauthorized use.
Licensing and Exclusivity
If additional usage rights or an exclusive license is required, clients may contact us to discuss terms. Licensing for extended use may be subject to additional fees, which will be outlined in a separate agreement.
Consequences of Unauthorized Use
Unauthorized use of Golf Associates’ artwork or designs constitutes copyright infringement and may result in legal action. In the event of a breach of this policy, Golf Associates reserves the right to seek damages, attorneys’ fees, and any necessary legal recourse. Additionally, clients agree to indemnify Golf Associates against any claims or losses resulting from unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution by the client or any associated third party.
Acceptance of Terms
By engaging with Golf Associates and receiving proofs, drafts, or final artwork, clients acknowledge and agree to abide by the terms outlined in this copyright policy. Jurisdiction
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any disputes arising from a breach of this policy shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.
